Charlette Matts is an associate with the firm. Prior to joining the firm, she was a participant in the New Jersey Attorney General’s Volunteer Associates in Public Service Program working in the Division of Law Employment Litigation Section. Ms. Matts graduated from Brooklyn Law School in 2015, where she – as a participant in the Brooklyn Law School Employment Law Clinic – represented low-income workers who had been denied unemployment insurance benefits. While attending law school, she interned at union-side law firms in New York, Actors’ Equity Association, and the National Labor Relations Board New York Judges Division. In 2013, she was awarded a Peggy Browning Fellowship, through which she interned at United Food and Commercial Workers, Local 1776. Ms. Matts received a bachelor’s degree from University of Texas at Austin in 2007.
