Eve E. Weissman (she/her) is an associate at the firm with a background in impact litigation including labor, employment, civil rights, and consumer law. Prior to joining the firm, Eve served as Labor Enforcement Chief in the NJ Office of the Attorney General, where she led the State’s affirmative labor enforcement work, including litigation addressing wage theft and worker misclassification. Earlier in her tenure at the Office of the Attorney General, Eve litigated civil rights and labor enforcement cases as a Deputy Attorney General in state and federal court and the NJ Office of Administrative Law. Before entering government service, Eve worked as a staff attorney at New Economy Project, where she brought federal litigation challenging discriminatory and predatory financial practices and provided direct legal services. Eve also worked as a staff attorney at New York City Legal Services and served as a law clerk to the Honorable Cheryl L. Pollak of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York. She received her J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law and her B.A. from Vassar College. Eve is admitted to practice in New Jersey and New York.
